The "wxSafeYield" routine froze everything upon loading from a file. With this patch I commented out its invocation and got things going again. I understand that this helps with synchronizing the windows system. For my small test-sequences that was a non-issue, tending to think that the responsiveness has improved. Is anything I am not aware of suggesting not to remove that function?
